Mercedes-Benz S500 AMG (W222) 2016 Г.

The Mercedes-Benz W222 is the sixth generation of the flagship S-class executive car series of the German brand Mercedes-Benz, which has been produced since 2013. It replaced the W221 model. The design, which began back in 2009, was handled by Robert Lesnik. The exterior of the new model is borrowed from the CLA-class and the first generation W212 E-class. The presentation of the car took place on May 15, 2013 in Hamburg, Germany[4].

Available in sedan body styles (with shortened and extended wheelbases), coupe and convertible (since 2015). In addition, it has high-performance modifications from the Mercedes-AMG division in the face of the S63 AMG and S65 AMG (both available in sedan, coupe and convertible), as well as the most luxurious version of the limousine - Pullman, assembled by the Mercedes-Maybach sub-brand. In 2017, the flagship series underwent a comprehensive restyling, which brought changes to the appearance, a set of electronic systems and a range of car engines[⇨]. External changes affected the optics, bumpers and grille, while the internal ones affected the steering wheel, color palette and some elements of the front panel (in particular, the displays were placed under a single glass). Updated existing and added new driver assistance systems. Technical upgrades have been implemented for both diesel and petrol powertrains. The restyling also affected the most powerful models from the Mercedes-AMG division (the S63 was equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine) and Mercedes-Maybach. The new version of the S-Class 222 series was presented in April 2017 as part of the Shanghai Auto Show. The car went on sale in the summer of the same year.
